While designing a living room, we love to focus on space and depth, connecting various activity zones. Highlighting very few design elements with the rest of the elements as supporting elements, makes the space, tell a specific story of its own. Lights play very important role in any interior, as hanging lights, down lighters, niche lights, hidden lights and diffused lights. We avoid highlighting appliances like ac, tv and speakers. Art pieces are so important for a space, to radiate positive vibes. We always emphasize using various kinds of arts to decorate and enhance the beauty of the space. Let there be art. Small storages, here and there, are enough for keeping objects of day-to-day use. Open space and blank space are important to make the room spacious. Adding a plant with a metal pot, adds a natural feel and calming effect.

 

We like to highlight the dining table with chairs as the most happening place in the house with interesting elements surrounding the dining table. Hanging lights, tinted mirrors and warm colored chairs can bring in the freshness and create a mood.

 

Providing scope for decoration for future celebration at home is very important. In India, people like to decorate home for various festivals like Diwali, Pongal, Gudi Padwa, Ganesh Utsav, Navratri, New Year and also for family functions like Puja, Marriage, Birthday and so on. There should always be enough electric plug points for decorative lights. There should always be hooks to hang decorative elements. There should always be surfaces which can be used to stick decorative sheets. Celebration is life. So our interior designing skill should take care of it.
